Is the desire to focus on the heart of the players and the comeback

just people looking for silver linings or does it really not bother people we have to be good at comebacks because our trendline is slow starts? When people hold comebacks up as some badge of honor (and in some cases maybe it is), I feel like I am in the twilight zone.
